Rockets Beat Thunder in a Huge Comeback

James Harden scored a career high of 46 points and Jeremy Lin added 29 points and 8 assists to beat the Western Conference powerhouse, Oklahoma City Thunder, 122-119. 

Russell Westbrook lead the scoring for the Thunder, chipping in 28 points, and getting a double-double with 10 rebounds. Sefolosha also lead the scoring with 28 points. Kevin Durant was limited to 16 points with 4 out of 13 shooting but went off to have a triple-double game making 12 boards and 11 assists. Kevin Martin added 15 points off the bench. The Thunder was in the lead almost throughout the game only to be dismantled by the Rocket's front court duo.


The Rockets were down by 14 points with only seven minutes left but in just a snap, they managed to take the lead with only 1:46 remaining on the clock. Harden and Lin lead the come back by making simultaneous baskets in the crucial minutes of the game.


Harden grabbed 8 boards and added 6 assists. The former Sixth-Man of the year had a 14 out of 19 shooting. His free throw shooting was almost perfect, maing 11 out of 12. Chandler Parsons added 17 points and 6 rebounds. The Rockets did not get much help from the bench aside from Greg Smith scoring 8 points and grabbing 4 boards.


Oklahoma City has secured it's standing in the second seed, next to first seeder, San Antonio Spurs while the Houston Rockets is hanging on the eight seed with Portland and LA Lakers creeping in from the 9th and 10th spot respectively.
